Job Description:

Do you have a passion for Italian cuisine? Are you interested in working for a Head Chef who puts people first? This may be the job for you!


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food in an organized and safe manner, in-line with recipes and health standards.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Accommodate guest requests to the best of your ability.
  • When necessary, clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, shelving and surfaces.
  • Assist in daily cleaning duties.
  • Follow direction of the management team as needed to ensure a clean kitchen and safe and healthy work environment.
  • Train new employees and help cross train existing employees.
  • Ensure work station is setup for service.
  • Ensure all prep for your station is done, helping others as needed.
  • Receive and store food appropriately, maintaining dry storage, fridge and freezer.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma, preferred.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Serving It Right required.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Flexible working hours, including but not limited to weekdays, weekends and holidays.


BREAKFAST SERVER


Job Description:

Capo & The Spritz at OPUS Vancouver is looking for a Breakfast Server. Work alongside our talented team to provide unforgettable guest experiences all around!


Responsibilities:

  • Able to make all types of Coffee beverages and work autonomously when needed.
  • Coordinate with OPUS' Front Desk for room service orders and deliveries. 
  • Outgoing and confident, comfortable promoting items and services.
  • Offer consistent and individual authentic service to each guest to create elevated service.
  • Well groomed, emanating genuine warmth and care to all guests.
  • Friendly and polite, creates a great first impression.
  • Able to communicate well with wide variety of people, adapting tone and building rapport with guests.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have a strong initiative.
  • Strong customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Full time, must be available for 5 morning shifts per week including but not limited to weekdays, weekends and holidays. Part time will be considered for the right candidates.
  • High school diploma, preferred.
  • Serving It Right required.
  • Previous Barista training is an asset.
  • Previous experience with Squirrel POS system is an asset.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Must possess legal work authorization for Canada.
